Labaton Sucharow LLP serves as Co-Lead Counsel in this lawsuit filed on behalf of a proposed class of Plaintiffs who purchased construction flat glass directly from Defendants, certain manufacturers of this product.
Plaintiffs allege that, between July 1, 2002 and December 31, 2006, Defendants participated in a conspiracy to unlawfully fix prices charged for construction flat glass, as well as related energy surcharges, in violation of the federal antitrust laws. “Construction Flat Glass” includes glass used in the construction and architectural sections in, for example, windows for residential homes, commercial structures, and architectural products such as office panels and doors. The case is pending before the Honorable Chief Judge Donetta W. Ambrose in the Western District of Pennsylvania.
On February 11, 2009, the Court denied Defendants’ motion to dismiss. Discovery in the case is proceeding.
