Colin N. Holmes

Colin Holmes concentrates his practice on prosecuting complex securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors.
Prior to joining Labaton Sucharow, Mr. Holmes was an associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel, where he practiced complex commercial litigation including bankruptcy proceedings, class actions, securities litigation, real estate, and antitrust.
Mr. Holmes maintains a strong commitment to pro bono work. During the past few years, he has been involved in several pro bono matters including evaluating an appeal for DNA testing for the Innocence Project, assisting in election monitoring for Election Protection, and drafting reports on the Terrorist Watch List and New York State’s Son of Sam law.
During his time at University of Connecticut School of Law, Mr. Holmes was the Notes and Comments Editor of the Connecticut Law Review.
