Jean Bliss joined Labaton Sucharow’s New York office as the paralegal manager/short term attorney administrator in the summer of 2006.
 
Most recently, Ms. Bliss served for three years as the manager of Temporary Attorney Administration & Senior Case Manager at another New York-based securities class action firm. In this role, she managed over 100 temporary attorneys and assisted with the management of the paralegal department. Prior to this position, she served as the senior litigation paralegal at Pennie & Edmonds, LLP and Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP, respectively. She began her career as a litigation paralegal at Constangy, Brooks & Smith LLC in Atlanta.

Ms. Bliss also worked as a summer associate for the Bazelon Center for Mental Health in Washington, D.C. and as an intern for the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Department at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

Ms. Bliss obtained her J.D. from New York Law School, graduating on the High Honors Dean’s List. She obtained her B.A. in Political Science & English from Hollins University. Ms. Bliss received an American Bar Association (ABA) approved Paralegal Certificate, with Honors, from The National Center for Paralegal Training.
