Philip Wohl is a seasoned financial analyst with nearly 20 years’ experience in financial analysis, investment guidance and communications. At Labaton Sucharow, Mr. Wohl is a member of the Firm’s case development team and is primarily responsible for uncovering and analyzing new cases.

Prior to joining Labaton Sucharow in 2008, Mr. Wohl spent nearly a decade at Standard and Poor’s, where he served as a Senior Investment Officer. During his tenure at S&P, Mr. Wohl maintained analytic coverage and wrote industry surveys on a variety of industries, including telecom services, specialty retail and regional banks. He also appeared on financial television networks, including CNBC and Bloomberg, and was quoted in industry publications worldwide.

Mr. Wohl was also a writer and analyst at The Motley Fool, where he conceived and created full-length feature articles and daily content for the website, with an emphasis in security and industry analysis.

Additionally, Mr. Wohl began his career as a Senior Research Associate at The Royce Funds. In this role, he advised fund manager Chuck Royce on portfolio composition and participated in conferences with clients to communicate the investment direction of the funds.

Mr. Wohl earned a B.S. and an M.B.A. in Finance from Long Island University. He earned an M.S. in Education from Hofstra University.
