
Ray Politano joined Labaton Sucharow in 2006 as the Chief Operating Officer. He is primarily responsible for the non-legal operational management of the Firm.
Mr. Politano has over 17 years of law firm managerial experience. His effective management style has developed optimal growth, quality of client services and efficiency in the operation of the office. He has successfully developed departmental directors, managers and staff members by mentoring, motivating and team building.
Most recently, Mr. Politano held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Baker & McKenzie’s New York office. While at Baker & McKenzie, he was responsible for the financial, operational and administrative aspects of the New York office including the operational integration of two New York offices. Mr. Politano also reorganized and restructured the administrative operations eliminating operational redundancies and improving quality services.
Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie, Mr. Politano served as the Assistant Controller at Chadbourne & Parke. Previous to this role, he worked as the Controller at Morrison, Cohen, Singer & Weinstein. He began his career as an Accounting Manager at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy in 1988.
Mr. Politano received his BBA at Bernard Baruch College. He is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators.
